Was it too much to ask you do a bit more reflection about the communication and presentation skill development via this hybrid method with the various web 2.0 tools? My group (myself (Hybrid Method), En. Helmi (Video Production), Kak Anna (Web 2.0), Pn. Hazrati (ID), Faisal (Photography), Kak CT (ICT Exit Skill), Kak Wani (Photoshop) and Miss Aidah (Information Skill) are continuously doing research to improve the teaching and learning process for this course – Educational Technology for TESL students. The last 3 cohorts of TESL students have helped us tremendously in giving ideas to add more fun to the course. We have implemented some of their suggestion this semester and we hope to do better in the future with your help. Thus it is important for us to know your opinion in the form of reflections about the task given last week (this task is suppose to be given to you as your take-home-assignment on the Friday of your semester break week 9.11.12 so you can sort of replace your physical attendance with this virtual task while relaxing back home on that very friday). It’s just that i decided to give the task earlier for many reasons and did not have much time to explain before I had to leave for Kedah. In short, I hope you would not mind to do an additional reflection on Week 4 as mentioned in my posting for Week 4 (the real task) as follows:
…the real task for Week 4. Based on the resources available particularly the Web 2.0 applications such as the WordPress mobile blogs and the Video Production Facebook Group, write a detail reflection of (i) your thoughts on how the availability of web 2.0 applications (WordPress, FB Group, etc.) in this course have helped you overcome your problem or increase your confidence, presentation and communication skill or help you becomes more critical and creative in solving problems to complete the given tasks.
Was that too much to ask? I am sorry to cause you suh burden but we wanted to know about the communication and presentation skill development via this method in order to improve our teaching and learning. My researh group members (myself (Hybrid E-Learning), En. Helmi (Video Production), Kak Anna (Web 2.0), Pn. Hazrati (ID), Faisal (Photography), Kak CT (ICT Exit Skill), Kak Wani (Photoshop) and Miss Aidah (Infformation Skill) plan to use the information to improve our module so we can serve you and future students for the cause better. I hope you will help us help you.
